GFIS Workshops

Fall Quarter 2015 GFIS Workshops

Don’t let funding application deadlines pass you by! These Graduate Funding Information Service (GFIS) workshops introduce current UW graduate students (Masters and PhD) to resources for finding fellowships, scholarships, grants, and employment to help finance graduate education, research, and travel. Each workshop provides an overview of databases and search strategies for finding funding, as well as the timeline for applying for fellowships and grants. A variety of times and formats (face-to-face or webinar) are offered. The workshop on October 8th will specifically address international students, though international students are welcome at any of the other sessions.
