GO-MAP (The Graduate Opportunities and Minority Achievement Program) is seeking a GSA (Graduate Staff Assistant) who will be a member of a highly collaborative team that will serve a primary role in the overall coordination and implementation of programs and events that support outreach and recruitment; retention and professional development; and Graduate School fundraising initiatives focused on diversity. Emphasis will be placed on applicants who have experience in communications and marketing. Responsibilities will include: event planning; enhancing graduate student experience; communications and marketing; data processing and analysis; and other duties as needed.
One academic year commitment from September 16, 2016 to June 15, 2017 (appointment could begin summer of 2016 if student is available).
University of Washington graduate students enrolled full-time (minimum of 10 credits per quarter) as of Autumn 2016. Please note that graduate students enrolled in self-sustaining/fee-based programs and professional programs will not be considered.
