Presidential Management Fellowship Program (PMF)

Presidential Management Fellowship Program (PMF). This two-year paid fellowship includes challenging assignments, potential for accelerated promotions, developmental assignments, and networking opportunities. Finalists appointed as PMFs have the opportunity to be hired by Federal Agencies and engage in solving domestic and/or international issues in areas such as public administration, engineering, technology, science, criminal justice, health, and financial management, to name a few.

Students in Public Affairs, Law, Jackson School, Business, and Forest Resources should contact their departments for information and nomination. If your department does not have a procedure for nominating students, you can request nomination through The Graduate School. To request nomination by The Graduate School, go to:

Deadline: Application period is September 15-25, 2011.
Students being nominated through the Graduate School must deliver their nomination form to the Office of Fellowships and Awards, G-1 Communications Building, no later than 12 noon, Monday, September 26, 2011.

Eligibility Requirements: Must receive advanced degree between Sept. 1, 2011 and Aug. 31, 2012. Must meet following criteria: breath and quality of accomplishments, capacity for leadership, and demonstrated commitment to a career in the analysis and management of public policies and programs.
